The Backwoods Bundle

To celebrate two years of Loblolly Press, we’re offering something special: our entire catalog in one beautifully wrapped, limited-edition bundle. This isn’t just a stack of books — it’s a small archive of everything we’ve built so far. It’s our past, our present, and a little piece of where this thing’s going.

Each bundle includes:

  • Beasts of Chase by Andrew Mack ($10)
A haunting chapbook that explores the intersection between nature and humanity, survival and violence.
  • The Surfacing of Joy by Earl J. Wilcox ($20)
Wilcox’s powerful debut collection offers a heartfelt exploration of life’s seasons through the lens of a scholar, educator, husband, father, and grandfather. These poems invite us to evaluate our sense of place in the world and our relationship to nature.
  • If Lost by Clint Bowman ($20)
Inspired by the mountains, forests, animals, and people that define the region, Bowman’s work offers a raw and poignant exploration of a landscape in flux—one where natural beauty and human resilience collide with environmental decay and societal neglect.
  • Distant Relations by Cheryl Whitehead ($20)
Whitehead’s debut collection delves into the intricacies of familial relationships, weaving together threads of memory, displacement, and the enduring ties that bind us across generations.
  • The Computer Room by Emma Ensley (Pre-order, $20, ships separately in September 2025)
Ensley’s stunning debut collection of short stories captures messy, heartfelt, and often surreal moments of coming of age in small-town America in the early days of the internet.
